Abstract:Large companies are likely to use their annual reports to communicate information about their environmental performance and their involvement in the community. Very few companies were concerned to make extra investment in a separate report on their community involvement. Environmental issues were more likely to be discussed in a dedicated report, which are not addressed specifically for shareholders. They are being used to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, particularly by industries in environmentally sensitive industries.
