| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to investigate proporties of a system with exogenous exchange rates. The authors introduce a novel simultaneous trade model allowing richer and more transparent analyses than possible under previous sequential modelling approaches. A simultaneous trading model also enables to examine consistently various environmental constraints to protect third parties. Emission trading between countries is possible under the Second Sulphur Protocol. Exchange rate trading and third party problems are studied within a simultaneous model facilitating impositions of various environmental constraints. |
