Abstract:Two significant competitive factors are in play in today's market environment. First, the essence of competition remains constant: the mutual exertion of pressure to perform effectively. Second, today the economy has come face-to-face with a new face of competition - namely, business system vs. business system rivalry - that involves collaborative efforts shared among former or potential competitors.
