Abstract:Most strategic planning involves preparing dense documents. Building the process around a picture yields much better results, though. It is found out that few companies have clear strategic vision. The problem stems from the strategic-planning process itself. Companies should design the strategic-planning process by drawing a picture: a strategy canvas. The process includes several steps: 1. visual awakening, 2. visual exploration, 3. visual strategy fair, and 4. visual communication.
