Abstract: | This article analyses the increasing use of MP3 players, such as Apple iPods. In these MP3 players users can store up to 10 000 songs. Nowadays MP3 players enable users to have unprecented power of control over their experience of time and space. According to the writer iPod users achieve a level of autonomy over time and place by creating their own privatised auditory bubble when moving through the city each day. |
