Abstract:This article discusses globalization, organization and the ethics of liberation - issues of growing importance in the comtemporary debates around modernity and its future. First, it is argued that globalization means that the world should be understood as going far beyond europe. Second, the nature of the problems of organization related to globalization is assessed. The main argument is that the simplification and rationalization of the world and its dynamics has produced victims and exclusion, resulting in asymmetrical organization of modern life. Third, the paper focuses on the ethics of liberation, discussing the transformation of the world. In the future, the world could be seen as a transmodern organization of life characterized by its plurality, diversity and reasonability.
