Abstract:The creation of value - through positioning, opportunities, and resources - takes place at an increasingly unpredictable environment. This article aims at providing a new way of thinking about value creation. Discribed are three distinct ways for firms to create value: 1. establishing a positional advantage, 2. building and leveraging superiour resources, and 3. seizing fleeting entrepreneurial opportunities.
