Abstract: | A new methodology for industrial networks design and dynamic analysis from the view of sustainable development is presented in this article. A combination of optimization and simulation tools is used to work on it. The preferred pathways in terms of economic, social, and environmental performance are concluded with the aid of global dynamic optimization, and agent-based simulation is applied to examine how the network actually evolves. The perspectives are then integrated into a multiscale modeling framework. |
