| Abstract: | There are a lot of mostly neglected opportunities for innovation - those which we can find in problems, conflicts and crises. It is argued that every manager must become an innovation specialist. The process of innovation is examined. The crisis situation of a system is interpreted as an opportunity to make a new start via innovations. A model is presented to show how a system can be transmuted from the crisis to the congruity using creativity, motivation and changes in the corporate culture. One must admit that some crisis situations involve obstacles to change. In such a case the change agent is compelled to use power and build up a network of influencing factors in order to overcome the difficulties. |
