| Abstract: | Automation at ABC /Australian Broadcasting Corporation/ has two aims; to increase reliability and to reduce costs, as government funding will be cut. To handle time-shifting, the ABC has computer-controlled recording at each branch studio. In the new Parliament House Vinten camera control design is used. News gathering, production, and presentation are fully electronic, using the Sony Betacam format. |
