| Abstract: | The rapid growth of multinational companies in developing countries has produced renewed demand for executives capable of working abroad. The failure rate of expatriates is high so it is important to identify the major causes of this failure. Specific human resource management practices should be employed to help individual managers and their families to deal effectively with the challenges of expatriation. |
