Abstract: | In formulating and implementing domestic monetary policies, Deutsche Bundes Bank has the strongest independent nature, closely followed by Federal Reserve Bank. The Bank of Japan ranks third in this line. In terms of the central banks' status in foreign monetary policies, the countries in proper order are Germany, America and Japan. In Japan , the Ministry of Finance controls foreign exchange reserves. In Germany, Deutsche Bundes Bank possesses all foreign exchange reserves and has the right of operation. In America, the Ministry of Finance has a formal right to intervene foreign exchange and controls the source of exchange equalization fund. |
