| Abstract: | This article concentrates on two sub-areas; expatriate successfulness and expatriate adjustment process. In the initial research conducted by the author they were both found to be areas that lack proper scientific (and also practical) understanding. This article first, illustrates the need for a new way of looking at the phenomenon. The approach is very critical. After that, two causes are presented to illustrate the gaps in present understanding. The last part of the article presents a new model for understanding the relationship between success and adjustment. |
