| Abstract: | The aim of this article is to provide basic information about the new competition law of Estonia and to compare it with the old law. The present day Competition Law was adopted by the Estonian Parliament on June 16, 1993. It has been in force since October 01, 1993. Hence, Estonia has had nearly a five-year term of hands-on practice in the regulation of competition. In view of the many changes in the business area, the new Law on Competition was passed by Parliament on March 11, 1998. |
