| Abstract: | Both in Estonia and elsewhere in the Baltics there have been quite a few surveys of the dynamics of entrepreneurship. However, intrastate (national) regional differences in the conditions of business activity and in the performance of enterprises have been overlooked by and large. A welcome exception is research financed by the PHARE project of the EU and carried out by joint efforts of the Economics Ministry of Estonia and the Netherlands Economic Institute. |
