Abstract:If Saudi Arabia was the hell on earth the media describes, it is very unlikely that 30,000 British expatriates would live there, even though the money is good. Horror stories about Saudi Arabia Islamic code are plentiful - particularly in the UK -- but as with many emerging countries, this is not necessarily a true indication of life within its boundaries. Saudi Arabia may be known for its rigid regime and the inflexibility of its Islamic society, but beyond this facade lies a well-regulated business environment and a nation eager to carry out more commerce with the West.
