| Abstract: | First, the mutual benefit of the two countries serves as the basis of the rapid development of bilateral trade; second, the external strategy of "economy priority" after the Cold War provides opportunity for trade development between the two countries; third, the contract and visit exchange between the high-rank leaders of the two countries make the trade development more successful. However, with the development of Sino-U.S. trade, there emerge more and more disputes. The obstacles mainly are the following: problem of bilateral trade unbalance becomes more and more outstanding; the negotiation on China's entrance into WTO has entered a critical period; "most favorable national treatment" is still difficult to be solved permanently; the export control policy of America toward China tends to be more strict; and so on. |
