Abstract: | Admitting that organizational behavior may be a field with a weak paradigm, this can be viewed as an advantage; it allows many niches to emerge. A niche is an identifiable, circumscribed area of scholarly inquiry that can provide a good match with the individual's qualifications, interests, and career aspirations. Within these niches individual scholars can thrive. This article provides implications of the niche composition of organizational behaviour for developing a successful academic career, and advices how to go about doing it. |
