| Abstract: | Islamic economics presents Islam's viewpoint on the human economic situation. The basic concepts and objectives of Islamic economics are outlined. It is argued that only Islamic economics has the potential to respond to the economic problems of the future. The problems and challenges of the major Islamic economic institutions are pointed out. |
