Abstract: | A behavioral (here as: beh.) perspective is used to survey theory that may be useful in mediation. A matrix including beh. factors of perception, emotion, cognition, communication, and intervention at the three levels (micro, meso, and macro) of conflict. This matrix is used to organize and review some mediation theories. Identified are several types of intervention theory: integrated, generic, dialectical, developmental, and dialogical. |
