| Abstract: | The growth of electronic waste (e-waste) creates a need for better recycling infrastructure for toxic e-waste. In this mail survey Californian households` willingness to pay advanced recycling fees (ARF) for electronics was studied. The results suggest that when developing e-waste recycling infrastructure policymakers` attention should focus on middle-aged and older adults, improving programs in areas that already have recycling centers but also on rural communities. Policymakers should also consider public-private partnership in e-waste recycling programs. |
