| Abstract: | This study provides views and attitudes of landholders concerning the factors influencing agriculture, participants' interpretations of sustainability, and what landholders believe to be the strengths and limitations of standard policy tools. Research material was collected in three workshops in the state of Victoria, Australia. Findings of the study promote need for voluntary and education-based tools in policy making. |
