Abstract:The judgements of industrial marketing faculty and industrial marketing practitioners are measured extending previous studies. Responses to a mail questionnaire are summarized. Practitioners displayed relatively high levels of agreement with one to another concerning writing and verbal skills, ability to conduct secondary research, quantitative, financial, and accounting skills, but industrial marketing educators and practitioners placed different emphasis on a variety of job related skills for entry position applicants.
