| Abstract: | Teaching skills may be a central factor of career development among university teacher-researchers and in raising the status of teaching in universities. Since 1994 Finnish university teachers have had access to the versatile Peda Forum, a new kind of experiment with different modes of action, giving teachers a variety of opportunities for developing their pedagogical expertise. In the last few years Finnish universities have paid increasing attention to improving the quality of their teaching. |
