| Abstract: | The authors investigate the situation of public TV and commercial TV in Germany, Italy, France and Great Britain. A comparison is made between movie films and TV productions as to their rating and expenditure. Contribution of the state to film and TV productions is different in the countries studied and producers try to strengthen international co-operation. |
