| Abstract: | Government rhetoric extols the value of a learning society arising from re-organised, fit-for-purpose institutions. The ahutho, an FE principal, challenges the lack of an equivalent emphasis on learning and learning excellence and argues that a robust debate on the nature of learning, learning excellence, e-learning and the new paradigm of learning required to underpin and drive the learning age transformation, is long overdue. |
