| Abstract: | The paper discusses the issues involved in managing a software project. The article presents a software called Project Engineer (PE). PE is a tool that has been developed in an attempt to automate the process-management activities. PE attempts to solve the management of software projects from various perspectives. The concepts of project lifecycles and templates are explained in detail. The platform chosen was an IBM PC with the Windows Version 3.x environment. Appendix with glossary is provided. |
