| Abstract: | There is a growth in the level of basic business understanding. The finance function in business is no longer isolated. The ability to produce masses of information has been revolutionised by computer technology and the fashion has switched. What we have now is the recognition from within successful companies that financial reporting as a management tool is an extremely effective part of overall business management. The idea of financial reporting as a management tool is not bizzare. |
