Abstract: | The present research focuses on environment-strategy- performance linkages for mature products in South Korea. With a GNP growth rate averaging about 9% anually from 1988 to 1992, and an annual per capita income of $6,500 for its 43.2 mln people Korea has emerged both as a significant market and as a potential source of competition in the international arena. Since this study is the first of its kind in a developing economy, it is basically exploratory in nature. The purpose of the research is to explore strategy-performance relationships within certain conditions. |
