| Abstract: | As managing partner of a firm of chartered surveyors, Rod Grant spends more time exercising the skills of a manager than those of a surveyor, which is not as obvious as it sounds. One of the great problems with managing partnerships, particularly smaller ones, is that managing is not a universally revered discipline. In the end it is the strengths of partnership culture that humanise the management systems. If you are going to change then you have to listen to people's concerns. |
