| Abstract: | The ideological motive of the hurried socialist transformation included Mao Zedong's incorrect estimation of farmer's spirit after land reform, the worsening eagerness of instant benefit, the overestimation of the influence of ownership reform on developing production, the influence of highly centralized economic system and equalization and the influence of the international environment and the change of domestic situation. All this made Mao Zedong decide to speed up the socialist transformation. |
