Abstract: | Nuch of the literature on business ethics has focused on attempts at transformating individual ethics into the corporate domain. Such transformation was probably much easier in the days when businesses were sufficiently small in size and contracting structures allowed them to be much more human and personal than what we find in the corporation of today. Grcic (1985) has shown that conscience is a superior regulator of moral actions and is easily identifiable at the individual level, but much more difficult at the collective level. |
