Abstract:After-sale support is dealt with as a means for the development of the business activities,as a source of possible additional revenue. After surveying the methods and findings of reports on the topic made in the years 1975-87,some of the existing opportunities for the successful development of field service strategies are examined. In the shade of the replacement of the consumption of physical goods with the consumption of services,the redefinition of the firm and client relationship system is called for and carried out in the search for partnership relations.
