| Abstract: | Austin et. al. criticised the conclusions reached by Barrett et. al. in their critical reanalysis of dynamic criteria. Austin is believed to have ignored several important issues: the burden of proof, the existence and interpretation of the simplex, and evidence for changes in performance from educational, organizational and experimental psychology. These issues are discussed in detail in the context of the original concept. |
