| Abstract: | In many organizations, management of end user computing is the responsibility of the information center manager. However, many information center managers are reactive. Requests for consultation, demand for training programs, coping with staff turnover, keeping abreast of new technology leave little time for end user computing strategy formulation. As a result, end user computing in many organizations is not really being managed. With a lot of goal choices available, and many ways to achieve them, strategy formulation becomes a real challenge. |
