Abstract:Management is pursuing objectives under uncertainty and making decisions upon actions whose connections are not totally known, and this is the essence of management control problems. Control thinking and practice in business context is investigated in this study. It is examined if there is any use for an effective management control system. Control has many limits, and one is to hold to old control dogmas. A characteristic of the new frames could be ability to encompass the perception, thinking and ideas in a given context.
