| Abstract: | The "Business travel" section, consisting from three articles "Fear of flying", "Suite dreams" and "Managing travel, managing costs", looks at the airline and hotel industries and offers tips on ways to manage travel budget. Travel and entertainment ranks as the second largest controllable cost after salaries among typical businesses today. Between 10% and 30% of a company's indirect operating costs often relate specifically to T&E. The "Business travel" section offers 10 steps to manage company's travel budget. It is stated that there are plenty of opportunities for the savvy travel manager or financial department to make significant savings. |
