Abstract:In this study the authors research whether a basic brand proposition in its various marketing campaigns that has been running for decades in promoting Ireland for business tourism would apply as well to Dublin specifically. In this research the authors primary apply a repertory grid analysis and on-line focus groups to understand the brand of Dublin and examines the way the marketing of a national capital city for business tourism both affects and is affected by, the marketing of the nation itself.
