Abstract: | This article aims to look beyond the reasons and identify the underlying factors influencing travel policy compliance. Distinguished are two broad categories of factors leading to non-compliance (here as: n-c.): i. those related to the corporate (here as: corp.) travel policy as formulated and communicated by the organization, referred to as corp.-related factors, incl. issues of corp. culture and business ethics, and ii. those related to the person of the corp. traveller, referred as personal-related factors, incl. issues of personal ethics. This article aims at identifying factors not previously recognized in industry or academic studies on n-c. or violation of the corp. travel policy. |
