Abstract:Herein, presented are the results of the empirical testing of the corporate travel policy compliance model conceptualized by the authors, and published in this journal in 2009. This article follows with the results of the empirical testing of the model, focusing on those related to the influence of personal factors on policy compliance.
The empirical study aims to determine if personal-related factors notably influenced travel policy compliance. It could be concluded that there is a correlation, with certain factors uncovering a stronger correlation than others. Hence, organizations need to understand the impact of factors previously ignored or under-valued as determinants of non-compliance etc.
