| Abstract: | The paper presents a research model, which suggests that task interdependence, goal conflict, and coordination strategies significantly affect productivity and satisfaction associated with software design and coding activities. Issues such as contingency/design misfit, conflicting contingencies, and extent of deviation to theoretically prescribed coordination mechanisms applied to contingencies are used to make predictions on the productivity and process satisfaction. |
