Abstract:The purpose of the paper is to explore the types of daily ethics related issues and stress factors faced by managers in entry-level and mid-level positions. The distinctive factor in this particular study compared with existing body of research is the presence of lower-level managers. The findings show that over a third of the daily unethical situations resulted from pressures from internal organization sources and ambiguity in letter versus spirit of rules. Different contextual factors accounted for 32% of the organizational factors that affected the managers' decisions.
