Abstract:The essential value chain - when productive conversations are the source of wealth-creation - is a chain of intangibles: knowledge, intelligence and wisdom. The author states: "Please join me in an exploration of their inter- relatedness and how value can be augmented at each stage". The main author's ideas are the following: 1) conversation - traditionally regarded as a waste of time - is the key resource for competing on time; 2)with overabundance of information and knowledge, time and attention are the scarcest resource. 3) today's customers are looking for more than products or services; they want to have a memorable experience. 4) knowledge cannot be managed, only inspired.
