| Abstract: | This paper explores the business-cycle behaviour of a matching model with endogenous separations (here as: seprts). Among others, it is shown that whether aggregate productivity (as: prod-y.) shocks have a larger effect on the vacancy-unemployment ratio than in a model with exogenous seprts. depends on whether worker prod-y. stochastically increases with tenure. However, the difference in the response is quantitatively small etc. |
