| Abstract: | Both China and Australia are situated in Asia and the Pacific Region. Both countries have their own advantages. So there is potential for bilateral trade and the fields for cooperation can be widened further. This paper raises the following suggestions for Sino-Australian cooperation: 1. expanding export to Australia; 2. properly increasing import; 3.promoting two-way investment; 4.developing new fields for service trade. Besides, both countries may actively explore new ways of cooperation, such as carrying out project-contracting business in the third country by taking advantage of the funds and technology of Australian companies and the labour force of China. |
