| Abstract: | China is facing more intense competition and challenge in utilizing foreign investment. So the orientation of China's policy of introducing foreign investment should be as follows: 1. The preferential measures of "super-national treatment" to foreign businesses can not be cancelled within a short period of time. 2. We should make great efforts to encourage American and European businesses to increase investment in China in order to improve the structure of sources of foreign investment. 3.We should accelerate the improvement of investment environment in the central and western areas to enhance the competitiveness in introducing foreign investment. 4.We should also encourage foreign businesses to purchase or participate in equity of some loss-making state-owned enterprises. 5. We should encourage introducing foreign investment by various means. |
