| Abstract: | Inflation is very detrimental to economic development. Severe inflation can lead to economic collapse. The key to the maintenance of the actual balance of the gross domestic supply and demand is to keep a tight rein on the gross demand. A tight control is also necessary over the scale of investment in fixed assets and over the capital construction by diversion of funds with a view to adopting sure and steady currency policies. |
