| Abstract: | this paper was presented at the First British Colloquium on Project Management under the general theme of "jumping to the next generation". Over the last quarter century, there have been few revolutionary changes in the way projects are managed. Increasing complexity of projects and the project environment have meant that despite improved methods, many projects still fail to meet expectations. Poor communication and collaboration are often cited as reasons. Technology is available today to improve the effectiveness of meetings. |
