| Abstract: | This paper discusses the particular mediators of the effects that Työhön Job Search Intervention has. Two specific mediators targeted by the intervention were studied: job-search efficiency and inoculation against setbacks. Data was collected from the 1261 participants of the Finnish Työhön Job Search Intervention study. Työhön Intervention caused a considerable increase in both Job-search self-efficiency and inoculation against setbacks. The intervention increased job-search readiness which had statistically notable mediating effects on improving re-employment and reducing financial strain and depressive symptoms. |
