| Abstract: | To successfully develop a region's or country's economy, policy-makers have to utilize foreign investments. To attract the right foreign investors, the host has to understand not only the investors , but more importantly its own investment environment. This article presents a practical method for evaluating investment environment from the viewpoint of a host region or country. A real Chinese case was analyzed by applying this method. The evaluation method is recommended not only to China but also to those countries having investment environments similar to China's. |
